Special Needs: NOT ME!! The shelter that kept me thought I had Wobblers Syndrome. I kept trying to tell them that I was just weak from no food. When my new foster Mom rescued me from the shelter, I got lots of good food and exercise with others of my kind. I became stronger and stronger. Then we went to the vet for a checkup to see how I was doing. The vet said I did NOT have Wobblers Syndrome. He said my weight was now ideal and that I will be a Tall and Lean boy, so I guess that means I don't have to worry about those silly diets.
Description: Turk is a very loving boy who came in as a stray to the Helena, MT shelter. He is underweight because he doesn't handle the stress of being in the shelter well. He is a very friendly dog that loves affection.
Good news! BSRR has been able to intake Turk! He is currently in his new foster home receiving lots of good nutritious food, attention, and love from his foster Mom. We will update his page as soon as we get to know him a little better.
My foster Mom has had me for awhile and these are her thoughts. I like most other dogs, except those pushy dominant males, so give me a home alone or with a nice looking lady. I would really like that! I love to go for walks, am good on a leash. I have lots of energy so anyone out there that likes to go hiking or running, I am your partner. She says I do need some obedience training, as I can be a wild man in the house, and am crate trained. I do want to please!
I am ready when you are. So let's get the leash on and go.
P.S. I am supposed to tell you about cats. Yes, they exist. Do I care? I really don't show any interest in them. Ho-hum!
