UPDATE: We did a "cat scan" on Crunch and he is not good with cats and was very aggressive towards them so he cannot go to a home with cats and I would also say with other small animals.
Crunch is a beautiful rotty boy. He was originally purchased by a young man from a breeder in Bozeman, MT. Then he was given to an older gentleman who lived on a farm and he was tied up most of the time.
Crunch has done great in foster care - he's learning manners and would do best in a home with owners that have previous rottweiler experience. He's not overly friendly with strangers but warms up quickly.
Crunch seems to pick and choose what dogs he likes. He was previously attacked by some dogs while tied up so he's hesitant with strange dogs. I think he would do best with a female dog and needs a proper introduction to all dogs.
Crunch lived with small kids at his first home and did great with them. He has not been tested with cats yet so we are uncertain about cats.
Crunch would benefit from an alpha owner who would take him to training classes. He is a little food aggressive when eating but we are working on that.
